ABOUT PI PHI

We are extremely excited to see that you have taken the time to come to our website to learn more about what Pi Beta Phi is all about and all the opportunities that it has to offer. I am so grateful and thankful to be given the opportunity to be the Chapter President of Pi Beta Phi. I know that we will accomplish even more this year and we can't wait to have new Angels join the bonds of wine and silver blue! Pi Beta Phi has impacted my life in so many different ways and has cultivated me into the woman I am today. Being a part of a chapter with women of both intellect and integrity has allowed me to not only improve as a sister but as a person as well. I would have never imagined how

much I would have changed for the better because of Pi Beta Phi. It is a lovely surprise because I did not picture myself in a sorority before college but now it is a part of my identity. What is remarkable about our chapter is that even after you graduate, the bonds with your sisters grow even stronger and you learn to contribute to the chapter in other ways. Pi Beta Phi is the first national secret college society of women to be modeled after the Greek-letter fraternities for men in 1867, and I am extremely proud to continue the legacy that our founders have envisioned for us. Pi Beta Phi is not just a sorority, it is an outstanding organization that allows you to attain the noblest womanhood and helps you expand your horizons. Pi Beta Phi has given me a countless number of leadership opportunities as well as philanthropic and social networking connections. I am so grateful for the beautiful women that I can call my sisters and I can't imagine my life without them. Pi Beta Phi makes my college experience amazing and being in it for four years now I still learn and grow from it. Our sisterhood is what made me want to stay in Pi Beta Phi. Our genuine love for each other fuels our desire to help our sisters when they need it and to help them even when they don't ask. Never in my life have I seen such a strong group of woman consistently support and guide one another so that they can see their sister succeed. It is truly a blessing to experience the sisterhood here in Pi Beta Phi and I am honored to be serving the chapter.

I hope that I have given you a slight glimpse of what Pi Beta Phi is all about and what it can do for you. If you have any questions or if you are interested in being a part of our angelic sisterhood, please don't hesitate to contact us! We look forward to seeing you soon and thank you so much for taking the time to learn about the Angels of Pi Beta Phi!

Our History

  • Pi Beta Phi Fraternity was founded on April 28, 1867, at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois.

  • Pi Phi is the first women's fraternity to be modeled on the men's groups and the first to start a chapter at another college.

  • Twelve amazing women started the Fraternity. We refer to them as our founders.
